SANWO-OLU APPOINTS OGUNDAIRO AS GENERAL MANAGER, LASODA The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of Mr. Oluwadamilare Jamiu Ogundairo, as the General Manager, Office of Disability Affairs with effect from November 5, 2020. A letter signed by the Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, stated that the appointment took cognisance of the appointee’s track record, especially his outstanding performance and accomplishments in the development and empowerment of the physically challenged people in Lagos State as well as the South-West. Ogundairo, the South-West Zonal Coordinator, National Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities and Chairman, National Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities, Lagos State Chapter, graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, with a BA in English (Education) and holds a National Diploma in Administration from the Lagos State Polytechnic, Isolo, Lagos. 1. President Buhari gives Osibanjo the authority to monitor the 2.3trillion Naira stimulus package of the NESP. Following the approval of the Nigerian Economic Sustainability Plan (NESP) by the Federal Executive Council on Thursday, President Muhammadu Buhari has now designated his deputy, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, to supervise the overall implementation of the 2.3trillion Naira plan. This was contained in a statement, highlighting key components of the approved plan and released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina in Abuja on Thursday. According to the statement, it read; "the Economic Sustainability Committee will monitor implementation of the Plan while the Vice President will regularly brief the President on progress made."
